Welcome to 8th grade Language Arts!  The following supplies are required for Language Arts:  three-ring binder (one inch), loose-leaf paper, blue or black pen, colored pen (red, green, purple ink), textbook cover, student planner, and flash drive.

4/11/11 Poetry Project (six-word, illustrated story) and Poetry Vocab #1-64 due on Thursday, 4/14/11.

4/12/11 Read 1/4 of Book 2 for Fourth Quarter.  Due Tuesday, 4/19/11.

4/13/11 EXTRA CREDIT:  Finish reading section in Study Island (10 questions/topic), record the number of questions answered and the percentage correct.  Due Tuesday, 4/19/11.

4/19/11 Read 1/2 of Book 2 for Fourth Quarter.  Due Tuesday, 4/26/11.

4/25/11 Read 3/4 of Book 2 for Fourth Quarter.  Due Tuesday, 5/3/11.

5/3/11 Finish reading Book 2 and take AR Test.  Due Tuesday, 5/10/11.

5/16/11 Prepare notebook for grading by organizing and correcting all pages.  Due Wednesday, 5/18/11.
