Welcome! My name is Jillian Nunn, and I am a School Psychologist for the Rowan-Salisbury Schools. I moved to the area from Buffalo, NY, in 2009. I attended the State University of New York at Geneseo where I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in 2007, and I completed my Master's of Science with Certificate of Advanced Study in May of 2010 at Niagara University. I completed my internship in the Rowan-Salisbury Schools during the 2009-2010 year, and am excited to be joining the staff for my third year. This year, I will be serving two elementary schools, Millbridge Elementary and Enochville Elementary. In addition, I will be receiving training to become certified to assess students with TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). My schedule sometimes changes as necessary to accommodate various meetings and other needs, but I can always be reached by e-mail at: nunnjm@rss.k12.nc.us Please take a moment to explore some of my favorite websites: v www.interventioncentral.com: Website with interventionstrategies, materials, and tools for academics or behavior. The “AcademicResources” and “Behavioral Resources” tabs will lead you to these interventions. v www.fcrr.org: Website with reading interventionsfor students in grades K-5. Utilize the "Student Center Activities Search Tool" to locate grade- and subject-specific interventions. v http://literacymatrix.com: Website withinterventions for students in grades K-12. Interventions focus on “the bigfive” areas of reading success, in addition to oral language and writing interventions.
