6TH GRADE LANGUAGE ARTS

Parents please continue to check your child's agenda book, conduct card, powerschool, and this site in order to prevent suprises! :)

IRP = Independent Reading Plan (Your son/daughter should read at minimum 15 minutes every night.) Packet of comprehension sheets handed out on 10/15 and due 11/12; IRP book should also be completed by 11/12!  These sheets are to be completed over their IRP book after reading 15 minutes daily. PAPER BAG PROJECT DUE ALSO ON 11/12!!

Reader's Chair - Handed out on Mondays and due on Friday!

Monday -  No reader's chair, Compound subjects, predicates, sentences, work on paper bag project.  NO HW

Tuesday -Finish compound work, work on IRP, begin sentence collage. NO HW

Wednesday - finish collage, work on IRP, begin Unit 2 review pack. HW - IRP Packet and paper bag project due!!!

Thursday -Turn in IRP activities, share paper bag project, peer evaluate, LIBRARY  NO HW

Friday - No school - In-service day!

Monday - Same as Block 1

Tuesday - Same as Block 1

Wednesday - Same as Block 1

Thursday -Same as Block 1
