- Monday, September 5, No School - Labor Day
Book Orders:

- The due date for September book orders will be Tuesday, September 27. Please make checks payable to Scholastic Book Orders. (No cash please).
Test Prep and Fun:
- Your student may practice CMT strands in reading, writing, and math from home. Students have access to their login information. The website, www.testprepfun.com, is user-friendly and comprehensive.
Homework:

- Students are to complete 30 minutes of reading each night and record it on their homework log. There is one math assignment, Monday through Thursday. Additional Homework will be noted in their homework planner, which should travel with them to and from school each day. A Homework Alert will be sent home if work is missing or incomplete for a parent’s signature. These homework assignments are a reinforcement of skills we are practicing in class.
Switching Classes:
- This year your student will be traveling to different classes for science and social studies. I will be their primary teacher, teaching reading, writing, and math. Ms. Broidis will be the social studies teacher, and Ms. Wallmark will be the science teacher. We are excited about this new adventure and we know it will offer your student more learning experiences.
