Music is moving right along!!  The 8th grade is preparing for Living Stations, which will be performed Fri. Mar 26th!!  The choir has been working hard to make the music fantastic.  The other students have been doing a number of things.  We have been working on the Auditory Recognition of mainstream instruments.  Also, students are learning about "Taiko Drumming", a Japanese form of drumming and communication.  The students have been forming their own bands and writing songs using different drums and percussion instruments.  The students are really enjoying this!! It is great to see them work in groups and create, co-operate, communicate etc with each other and come up with their own original song.  Students also get a chance to perform in front of their peers.  More to come!!
