We will do lab reports all year. Students must follow a 10 step process. They are given the handout of those steps.
Students must use the format given for tables and graphs.
Students may turn in the lab on the day it is due, get it marked and graded, and rewrite to correct mistakes and turn it in again for a better grade.
They may do as many re-writes as they wish until time runs out.... about a week before progress reports and a week before the quarter ends.
Extra credit labs use the same rules. A grade on the extra credit can be used to replace any bad grade including zeros except if the assignment was a major project. Sometimes there are exceptions.
Our basic text book this year is published by Glencoe: North Carolina Science grade 8. The web site for the topics in each class, we will not necessarily do it in the same manner, speed, or order. Every class period is unique.
