On Monday, April 26, we will have our Kindergarten registration. We will do registration from 9 until 10, and again from 6 until 7. 

The week of April 26-30 is our Relay for Life Spirit week. Students will be able to participate in several ways. Each day, we will have something "festive" that they can wear that is part of our "under the big top" theme. Students are also encouraged to bring change to school to donate to Relay for Life to help us all find a cure for cancer. The classroom for each grade level that raises the most money will have their teacher participate in a relay race on Friday afternoon. The top earning student from the top earning classroom will also help their teacher during the relay race, so please help your child raise money to make their teacher be the one from their grade level to have to race!

The week of May 3 through 7 is Teacher Appreciation Week, so please let your child's teacher know how much you appreciate what they do daily to provide your child with a quality education! We could not do this without dedicated teachers and staff.

May is our time to shine with state EOG testing! Extend 2 testing starts for grades 3-5 May 11-13. Our 5th graders will take their science EOG on May 13. All 3-5 students will do their testing survey on May 17. May 18 is the calculator active part of the math EOG. May 19 is the calculator inactive part of the math EOG. Finally, May 20 is the reading EOG. Remediation for those students who do not achieve proficiency will be May 26-28 and retests will occur June 1-4. May 25 is the day for our Kindergarten students to have their AGS post screening test. May 27 is our spring Chorus concert. It will be at 6:30. We will also have our PTA vote for officers for the 10-11 school year that evening. June 4 is our 5th grade, Sue Dodd Manners Luncheon. We are still looking for 5th grade parent volunteers to serve at the luncheon. Jenson Hardin, Carson High School Student Body President, will be the guest speaker. June 9 will be our field day and June 10 is the last day of school for students. 

This year has gone very quickly and our students, parents, and staff have worked very hard to get to this point. Please continue to encourage your child to Be their best, Act their best, and Do their best for this last quarter of school.
