For the Week of May 25-29: Monday, May 25, is a holiday! Dear Third Grade Parents, Here is the Third Grade week at a glance: Social Studies - We are continuing our economics unit. We are preparing for Marketplace! Science- Notes will be coming home everyday this week requesting items for our terrariums! This is a really fun and educational way to learn about environments and habitats. Math- This week we will continue reviewing everything we've learned in math this year. We continue having regular "Scoop" tests over each multiplication factor. Please keep helping your child practice the multiplication facts. Flash cards used in a gaming style are a wonderful tool and will help with continued success in math. Reading/Writer's Workshop/Grammar- We will be reading and discussing in Literature Circles. Spelling- The pre-test will come home on Monday and the test will be on Friday. |
