No new students will be admitted to Chorus or Concert Choir after Thursday, October 22nd.  New students may sign up for our next session in January.

CHORUS -  Grades 2-4.  Pick up time will be 3:45 PM.

CONCERT CHOIR - Grades 5-8.  PLEASE PACK LUNCH:  AVOID ORDERING HOT LUNCH ON TUESDAYS AS IT CUTS INTO OUR PRECIOUS REHEARSAL MINUTES.  I know October orders were already placed, but for the future, this accommodation is much appreciated!

CANTORS - Students in grades 5-8 who are members of Concert Choir will have priority to cantor.  Anyone not in Concert Choir will be considered on an individual basis, after an audition for Mrs. Snader.  Cantors will rehearse at lunch periods before their designated mass.

ARCHDIOCESAN CHORAL FESTIVAL - We will send 2 or 3 students (the maximum allotted to us) from Grades 4-6 to participate in the one-day festival and concert held in Spring 2010.  You must be a member of SSJ Chorus or Concert Choir all year to participate.  There will not be a large concert at the Kimmel Center this year.

KEYSTONE STATE BOYCHOIR FESTIVAL - We have been informed that this wonderful festival has been moved to Wednesday, November 18th (instead of May); therefore, we will be unable to participate.  Our Christmas Concert will be upon us and it is the last full Wednesday of school (the following week is half-day/Thanksgiving break); classes and Chorus rehearsal must take priority.  Mrs. Snader will consider sending students next year if the date is at a more suitable time.

BAND - Please return your sign up forms for lessons / instrument rentals in a timely manner.  Lessons and Band will be held on Fridays.
