Welcome to room 805!  


The new year is off to a great start.  We have many new students in our class this year and returning students.  Welcome to all of you, I am excited to be working with you!

Mrs. Rabon has returned this year as my classroom assistant.  She has a lot of experience and she is also thrilled to work with you.

As the new year is off to a great start, we have been busy working on our first novel, Crash by Jerry Spenelli.  The students are also working with graphic organizers to organize their thoughts and the main events of the story.  In Math, we are working on place value, calculations of whole numbers and starting to read decimals and calculate those also.   Energy is our main topic in Science and we are working on the transfer of energy.  If only we can find a way to bottle it!
