Thank you so much for attending your conference. As we work together we will see progress from your children. The areas that a lot of our children need help with are: *writing their name correctly *writing letters we have covered correctly *writing numbers 1-10 correctly. *Work on letter sounds. *making patterns *sorting items and being able to tell you how they have sorted *work on coloring skills *work on drawing skills (This will help as we progress into writing.) "Toad-ally" Awesome Behavior Rules: 1.Listen when the teacher is talking. 2.Raise your hand to be recognized to talk. 3.Keep your hands, feet, and other objects to yourself. 4.Be a good friend. 5. Use good manners.
Enhancement Schedule: Monday - Art Tuesday - Music/ computer lab Wednesday - Media Thursday - Friday - PE Lunch schedule: 12:05-12:40 Math - We have been working on many areas in math. Those have included making simple patterns, sorting, recognizing and writing numbers correctly 1-10. Many of our children know these numbers but are not writing them correctly. We have been working on writing our names. Please work with your child if they are having trouble with this. Have them only use a capital letter at the beginning and lowercase letters for the rest of their name, unless their name is meant to have a capital letter somewhere else in their name. We have also been working on recognizing and writing letters. Please work on the letter each week, especially when your child brings home their phonics homework. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
