Congratulations 8th graders! We will miss you. This will be my final SchoolNotes update for the year. 6th Grade: Persuasive paragraphs are due on Tuesday, June 1. Students will compose an essay in class to pass along to their seventh grade teachers answering the following questions: What kind of student am I? What is my learning style? What are my goals for next year? We will also write narrative stories using some of our remaining vocabulary words. During the last week of school, students will create their own "I Am" poems. 7th Grade: On Wednesday, June 2 and Thursday, June 3, students will present their persuasive compositions. Students will will also compose an essay in class to pass along to their eighth grade teachers answering the following questions: What kind of student am I? What is my learning style? What are my goals for next year? We will continue reviewing for our grammar final which is scheduled for Monday, June 7. 8th Grade: Grammar final is scheduled for Monday, June 1. |
