Parents,

Many students are not turning in homework assignments, please ask to see their work nightly and make sure the assignments are complete.  We typically start all homework in class but they need to finish for homework.  They do not get credit for partially done homework, it must be complete. 

Also, students are starting to complete take home test as a review for the SOL test this spring.  These tests are open book, open notes.  They may ask you for help and correct answers where needed.  These test will be graded out of 100 points.  They should come in with correct answers and all work shown.  These grades should be helping, not hurting their averages. 

Please make sure you review the test with them, sign their paper and have them return it on the due date.

Chapter 1 Take home test is due this Friday, 2-3.

Report cards were sent home today.  Also, there is a information form that you need to review and update.  Note that at the bottom, it request that you add any emergency contacts or people allowed to pickup your child from school on the back of the form.  Finally, if there are no changes, please indicate so on the page, sign and return in the report card envelope.  We have been asked to get all forms back.
