Nov. 13, 2009 Dear Parents, Second Quarter Progress Reports will be distributed on Thursday, Nov. 19. Please sign and return the Progress Report at your earliest convenience. As always, please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s progress this year. Our Homeroom Moms are doing a fabulous job organizing the Thanksgiving Feast, which will be held in the Parish Hall on Tuesday, Nov. 24. Thanks to all for your cooperation and generosity. I believe the Thanksgiving Feast rates as the second best day of the year, right after Spirit Day! CHECK THIS OUT!!! Jaguar Ticket Raffle
The 8th grade Class will be selling raffles for chances to win 4 tickets to the 3 remaining Jaguar games in December. The games are: December 6 vs. The Houston Texans, December 13 vs. The Miami Dolphins and the Thursday Night Game on December 17 vs. The Indianapolis Colts.
Chances will be 1 for $5 or 5 for $20; chances would be purchased individually to each of the 3 games. Chances will be sold through the school and after Masses each weekend starting November 21st & 22nd through December 12th & 13th. Parents are also encouraged to sell chances at their work, to neighbors, etc.
Again, this is an 8th grade ONLY Fund Raiser so your support in selling chances is important to make this successful. As every weekend there are 5 Masses at Blessed Trinity and 20 students in the class; we need 4 students at each Mass selling. We will be selling chances for 4 different weekend, please consider possibly attending a different Mass one these weekends to help out and make sure we have coverage at ALL Masses to sell chances. Students may recite it to me on or before Dec. 15. This is a Religion test grade. Gentle Reminder…. I assign Reading homework every night, Monday through Wednesday. Students are instructed to read one half of the story on Monday, and reread the entire story on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please continue practicing Multiplication facts daily.
