Third Trimester


NOCTI is almost here and the Senior class has been reviewing drawing techniques for the test. Each student has been working with the computer programs so that when they take the NOCTI test on the May 6th they will be prepared. The Junior class will be wrapping up working on mechanical drawings for the year. The last topic taught was basic intro into Spur Gears, Bevel Gears, Rack / Pinion, Worm Gears and Cams. Students were required to calculate the Gear data, after which they were able to create drawings of the gear.

On a personal note, this has been a great year at Kaynor working with the students and staff.
