**Decades Day for fifth grade is Friday, May 25

**Fifth grade Awards Day is May 31

**Last day of school May 31

Announcement: 

We have begun preparation for Decades Day next week.  Our class will be focusing on the 1930's.  If you have anything from this time period that you can send in for us to borrow during this time we would appreciate it.  Also, the students will need to dress as a character from this decade.  We ask that you begin preparing for it. A newsletter containing important information was sent home on Wednesday.  Please be sure to check out the newsletter.  Thanks in advance!! This is a very fun-filled time of learning!!

If you can send in a box of Twinkies or a bag of Tootsie Roll pops for Friday, we would really appreciate it.  We would like to pass them out to our audience on that day.  In order to do this, we need to be prepared for approx 140 people (students and parents).  Thank you for your help with this matter. 

First Annual End of Year Kickball Tournament/Party

A newsletter was sent home on Wednesday with the information about this day.  We are asking that students bring in $5.00 before this date to cover the cost of food.  They may also wish to bring a towel, hat, water bottle, or sunscreen.  We are looking forward to a great day full of fun and friendly competition!!!
