Matthew 21:9 Each Friday, there is a bake sale at lunch time. The cookies cost $.50 and are packaged two per bag. If your child would like to purchase cookies - on Friday only - please make sure you send in money that morning. There is no limit to how many bags that can be purchased and if I know in advance, I can send extras home. Some items collected by our school include: box tops, soup labels and drink pouches. We earn lots of money for the school with these and ask that you send them in as you have them. Also, if you shop at Publix, don’t forget to scan your tag! What we are learning this week: Phonics- We will learn about long and short vowel sounds. Handwriting- We will practice writing alphabet letters and words. Numbers- We will learn the numbers 1-20 and counting to 100. Language Development- We will learn about community helpers. Reading--one vowel words, blends, simple sentences. Bible- There will be an oral Bible verse test on Friday. Our Bible verse this week is "Ye are the light of the world." Matthew 5:14 . Homework- Please practice with your child: Bible verse of the week Alphabet Letters - sound and writing Counting to 100 Recognizing the numbers 1-20 Important Dates- April 11--15- Spring Break April 19th-Spring Pictures April 22nd-Midterms May 6th-Field Day May 24th-Last day of school for K3-5th grades Thank you for all your help and support during this school year!
