Week of February 6, 2012

**The Heritage Projects have been displayed in the front hall and have received many complements!  We are ready to send them home.  If your child has a large poster board and/or many objects that would be hard to get home in the backpack, we would like to ask you to come by the front hall Monday or Tuesday at either carpool drop-off or pick-up to carry them to your car.  Otherwise, we will send them home with the student.

Tests this Week:

Wednesday:  Math Chapter 5 Test

Friday:  Spelling

             **No Simple Solutions this week due to Math test

Homework for the Week:

Monday:  Math worksheet front and back

Tuesday:  Math Book Chapter 5 Test, pg. 235-236

Wednesday:  Language Arts W.S. (front and back)

Thursday:  Students will check out a non-fiction book in the Media Center and complete a worksheet containing questions pertaining to the book.

**In Religion this week, the students will be making a booklet of church objects with their meanings.  I am VERY proud of how far the students have come with their faith this year.  There is a significant change in their behavior at Mass.  They participate and focus on what is happening on the altar during the consecration. They are very ready to soon receive their 1st Holy Communion!
