Course Recovery MJ Math 2 (7th Grade Course)
Students assigned to course recovery will work at their own pace to recover the standards required. Students who have a contractual agreement must abide by all terms of this agreement during the course recovery process. All students have been issued the appropriate textbook in order to complete work that is assigned from the book. It is recommended that students complete all textbook assignments prior to completing the assignments on the Compass Odyssey system. This will ensure that students have reviewed and practiced concepts prior to applying them. Textbook work must be completed in the classroom. Compass Odyssey work may be completed outside of the classroom.
For the purpose of applying concepts and establishing a common assignment, students will have at least one activity to complete with every standard they recover. Activities will be placed in each student's portfolio for review by school and district personnel. These are “showcase” pieces of work and students are strongly encouraged to complete each activity with their very best effort. Activities may be completed outside of the classroom.
