IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING UPCOMING SPRING FLING:
Thursday, April 5, is LCA's Spring Fling for Preschool and Elementary. We will not have school that day, but rather, will meet at Lake Sharon (a flyer with details will come home soon). It is a fun, family event where the parents take their kids around to different booths run by the teachers...such as: face painting, bounce houses, cotton candy, and much more. We will also have an Easter egg hunt by age/grade. PS 2's will be given a designated time to hunt eggs. This is what we are needing a 12 count, cardboard egg container for. Please bring one in no later than March 28/29, so that we can decorate it in class. You will need to bring 12 filled plastic eggs to class for your child no later than April 2/3. PTF will take the eggs and cartons out to Lake Sharon ahead of time so that we are all ready on April 5. Each child that brings 12 filled eggs, leaves the egg hunt with 12 filled eggs in their decorated carton. If your child has a younger sibling or one that does not attend LCA, they may hunt eggs, but 12 filled eggs must be turned in for them as well. Another fun activity/fundraiser at Spring Fling is the basket raffles. Each class has a "theme" for their basket. Ours is Arts and Crafts. Parents are asked to bring in any items they wish to donate (there is no obligation!). The baskets will be out for all to see during Spring Fling and you may purchase tickets to have the chance to have your name drawn to win it.

REMINDERS:
* School time is from 8:45am - 1:00
* The doors open at 8:30, you can drop off your child at 8:35
* Sign-in each day at the table outside the room
* Bring a packed lunch - easy open & small bites are best
(we are not able to heat any items)
* Bring diapers/pull-ups and a change of clothes
* We will provide a snack each day
* Bring a sippy cup (labeled please) - once they have finished their drink, we will refill with water only
**Absences
The office would appreciate a phone call about absences and the cause to help in notifying other parents in cases where their child may have been exposed to a contagious illness.
A child may return to school when they have gone:
* 24 hours with no fever
* 24 hours with no throwing up
* 24 hours with no diarrhea
