Welcome to business and computer science class! Double Churches Middle School has PRIDE in our school! Due to changes in our schedule this year, this class is taught on an A/B day schedule. The students will work on the new article for the 3rd Issue of the Newspaper. 6th Grade MSBCS-BCSI-4: Students will develop keyboarding skills by touch with speed and accuracy. MSBCS-BCSI-6: Students will use the Internet as a resource. MSBCS-BCSI-12: Students will utilize multi-media/presentation software. Monday through Friday, the students will type lessons 4 and 5 in Microtype 4.0. 7th GradeMSBCS-BCSII-1: Students will reinforce keyboarding techniques.Monday through Friday, the students will work on lessons 4 and 5 in the Numeric Keyboarding Lessons. 8th Grade MSBCS-BCSIII-1: Students will reinforce keyboarding techniques.MSBCS-BCSIII-2: The students will demonstrate effective communication skills used to succeed in the business world: a) Verbal Communication, b) Written communication.MSBCS-BCSII-11: The student will examine educational requirements, job responsibilities, employment trends, and opportunities within different career pathways. Monday through Friday, the students will work on their review of keyboarding in Microtype 4.0. They will complete lessons A, C, E, G, I, K, M, O, Q, and S in the Keyboarding Skill Builder section of the program. |
