Dear Parent:

I hope you had wonderful and blessed weekend with your family.  We are moving fast towards the end of the year. We have many exciting events these next two weeks.  Here are a few reminders.

WednesdayFolders:

I will be sending the Spelling tests and Reading tests this week. Please take some time to review the papers with your child.

Boxtops:

Also, we continue collecting box tops as part of the Boxtops for Education program.  Thank you for your support.

Monday, May23:    Nocatering service / Hot Lunch order forms for the                                          week are due to the office

                                   Sign up continues for Mother-Son Luau Dance to be                                          held onWed., June 1^st from 6:30-9:00 p.m. at Kids’                                              Castle

Tuesday, May24:    Primary Prayer Service (Montessori – 3^rdGrade) 9:00                                          a.m.  Awards Ceremony for Montessori-3^rd Grade after                                        prayer service. Parents are welcome to attend.

Thurs., May26:       Mass 8:30 a.m. – 5^thGrade

                                   Presentation of Montessori K-5 certificates after Mass.

Friday, May27:       Full day of school for middle school students

Fifth Grade Schedule for May 30 - June 3

Monday, May 30:     depart for NASA - arrive at school at 7:00 a.m.  
                                   (Students who are not attending the trip may arrive at                                          school at the regular time. These students will be

                                    supervised by staff members.)

Tuesday, May 31:    return from NASA at approximately 9:30 p.m. 

Wednesday, June 1: No classes for fifth grade ONLY (Other grade levels will

                                    be in session)

                                  Mother-Son Luau Dance at Kids' Castle 6:30-9:00 p.m.                                      All fifth grade boys and their moms are invited to attend.

Thursday, June 2:  Full day of class - Mass at 8:30 a.m.

Friday, June 3:       Last day of School - Half Day / Noon Dismissal

Language:  Writing selected works for book project

Spelling:     Troublesome words;test Thursday

Social Studies: USA Studies Weekly

Reading: Continue reading and finishing:  Where the Red FernGrows by Wilson Rawls
