11/17/08 - Attention Parents, your child has been given a Missing Assignment sheet that "only" serves as the purpose of showing them what assignments have not been turned in.  These reports are "not" their progress report grades.  Those grade reports will be printed and sent home on Wednesday, 11/19/08.  This was explained thoroughly to each class but those incomplete calculations caused them to tune me out and they are under the assumption that this is their progress report grade.  I hope that this clears up any confusion on your part.  I am still adding other grades to the gradebook online that is not reflected on the "Missing Assignment" report.  These Missing Assignment reports must be signed by parents.  I hope that it enlightens you to the working pattern or lack there of, where your child is concerned.  It is my goal that you use this report to encourage them to complete ALL assignments in the future.  These assignments will only give them partial credit when they turn them in.

10/13/08 - Algebra students will have Chapter 2 Test on Thursday, October 16th

09/29/08 - PreAlgebra students will have Chapter 2 Test on Monday, October 6th

09/22/08 - There is a link to a flyer from a Math tutor that you might want to interview to help your child in Math.  She will send you her resume and references upon request.

09/17/08 - The letter is now attached to this page, as well as the page with the lesson plans.  Thank you for your patience.

09/16/08 - Letters went home today about the beginning of planner use and grading in my class.  I will upload it to this website tomorrow for those that did not receive it.  In short, I need the planners to be reviewed for the week by the parents for completion each day, check for any notes from me,etc.  You are asked to initial it, make any comments, questions or concerns at the bottom to my attention, and they will turn them in to me on Friday morning for grading.

09/16/08 - Students received their math grade that will appear on the progress reports.  I am asking that you sign it to acknowledge receipt of it and have them to return to me.

09/15/08 - We are finally making progress with this website.  Hold on a while longer as I get familiar with the new features that are available to us.

09/07/08 - I am having problems with my cutting and pasting.  I will try to resolve this issue by the end of day on Monday.  The information is there but just not as pretty as you would like to see it. :-)  Thanks, Karen Bethel

09/07/08 - Parents, our school is conducting the On Track Assessment Math test in all grade levels this Tuesday and Wednesday.  Therefore, there are no assignments for class.  However, homework will continue for practice.  Thanks, Karen Bethel

09/01/08 - Parents and Students, you may have noticed a slight format change this week.  Please continue to be patient with me as I make continuous changes to this website.  There are a lot of things that I would like to do here to make it much more user friendly and effective but it is taking me some time to pull it all together.

There might even be a full website change but I will post the link to that new site, should I make that final decision.
