Mrs. Butler's Page Welcome to Mrs. Butler's page. Our school-wide reading theme this year is "We're Wild About Reading!" My class needs to read aloud to someone at home for 15 minutes at least 4 nights each week. Since oral reading is so vital to your child's success, I have made this part of your child's weekly homework. Homework folders come home on Monday and are due on Friday. The story for the week should be read the first night of the week and written on your calendar for nightly reading. Reading books and all text books need to come to school each day. Work folders will go home the end of each week. Please look over the papers on the left side, sign and return those. The papers on the right side need to stay with you. Thank you for all your help getting the year started. This is a wonderful group of students. They work hard and I can tell you are doing your part at home. Below are the spelling words, reading story and vocabulary words for Mrs. Butler's reading group. Homework assignments for reading are also for my reading group only.
