Dear Preschool Families

     This is our last full week of Preschool.  I'm amazed at how quickly the time has gone and how much the children have grown and developed.  They are such a great group!  This week the children will participate in the activities they've told me they love the most - lots of playing, painting, playdoh, puzzles, songs, and games.  I'll be completing the end of the year assessments.  Report cards will come home next wek. 

     The children are enjoying hearing me read their classmates' favorite stories at story time.  It's great fun for each child to share their special book.  Please check the calendar for your child's story day.

     The Preschoolers will be taking part in the Spring Music Concert on Monday, May 21 at 1:30 p.m.  The program will be in the Church.  Half day students are welcome to return in the afternoon to participate in the program.

     Our Preschool End of the Year Program will take place in the School Hall on Thursday, May 31, 2012.  The program will begin at 9:00 a.m.  Please take a minute to read the handout your child brought home about the program.  We'd like to know how many people will be coming from each family so that we can set up enough chairs.

     The St. Rene Walkathon will take place on Tuesday, May 29, 2012.  We'll be walking around the school grounds to do our part for this fundraiser.  After the Walkathon, the Mothers Club will have games and acivities in the field for all of the students to enjoy.  There will also be a hotdog lunch and ice cream treat for the students.  What a fun day! 

     Reminder:

     *  There is NO SCHOOL next Monday, May 28, 2012 due to the Memorial Day holiday.
