       ****The Great Mail Race has begun.  Our third graders sent out 50 letters with surveys to 50 Catholic Schools, in 50 different states.  As the responses come in we will be marking them on our map and graphing the survey answers. 

   ****AR reminder:  All third grade students need to earn 6 points each 9 week grading period, the third grading period ends on: June 5, 2012.  Awesome job to all those that completed their goal early and have been earning so many Advanced Certificates=:)  

         This year, students will be earning points for good behavior, extra credit work, homework and other activities throughout the year.  We will be keeping a running record of points in our Zutter Bank register. Students will be able to write checks and go "shopping" at the end of each month.  I would greatly appreciate donations to our store.  Any small items that students would be interested in purchasing.

   Friday - Each Friday we will be "traveling" to and exploring different countries.  During May we will be learning about Mexico.  Please feel free to send in any souvenirs or information that you may have - be sure to label with your child's name so that it can be returned.
