Grade 5 Homework Policy

The fifth grade teachers view homework as an important tool in the reinforcement of skills being introduced in the classroom on a daily basis.  Homework is designed to help each child
accomplish his/her goals for the academic year.

You should expect approximately fifty minutes of homework daily.  We generally do not assign homework on weekends.

In addition to daily assignments, your child will be expected to complete a variety of long range assignments/projects throughout the school year.

Failure to complete homework assignments when they are due will result in a demerit issued
under the All School Code of Behavior.
