Language Arts includes writing, grammar, and literature. Books will not be sent home because Language Arts and Reading share books. If a student doesn't finish an assignment in either of the books, I will make a copy of the page for him/her. Language Arts classwork should be in the prongs of the orange folder. There is an assignment sheet in the front of the folder and daily assignments are listed by number and title. Please have your child check his folder every night for unfinished classwork. If a student doesn't finish his classwork, he/she should finish it for homework. Many students have trouble keeping up with assignments, finishing work, putting work in the prongs, etc. and will need your help until he/she gets in the routine.
