Spring Break is April 21 - 29! Have a great and safe break!

We have less than 30 days left of school. Please encourage your child to do their best these last few days of first grade. They are so important to preparing for second grade.

Dictated Sentences are pulling our Language grades down. Please practice giving your child sentences to write with their spelling words and high frequency words at home. We will now have 2 sentences on our weekly spelling test.

Also, Social Studies and Science grades have been influenced by incorrect writingas we have been writing and drawing about things we are studying. If your child's grade is lower than usual, they are either not writing neatly or they are not using complete sentences in their writings about our studies.
