        Welcome to new.schoolnotes.com. Homework and long term projectare are posted below.  Parents, be sure to check your child's planner for last minute changes.

 Science Fair Up-date:

 SFair Partner Contracts are now due and signed by students and their parents.

SFair Review of Literature papers (research papers) will be returned this week. Students can revise their reserach papers for a 3rd time using both peer and teacher edit remarks. The revision is due NO LATER than Wednesday 1/21/09.

SFair Project Proposals will be the main focus the first week back to school. This is a 'recipe' of how you will conduct the experiement. One final copy is due on Friday 1/9/09 from all groups.

 Remember EVERY Thursday after school (from now to April) is Science Fair Club where partners can meet, absence students can catch up and extra help or clarification of information is offered.

Homework January 5-12

Monday - SFair project proposal, 1st draft due on Wednesday, EVERYONE MUST HAVE A COPY for peer editing. After school help is available.

Tuesday - Review SFair vocabulary from crossword puzzle done in class. Quiz on SFair vocabulary on Monday 1/12, Work on SFair Project Proposal, 1st draft due Wednesday.

Wednesday - Review peer editing comments, 2nd revision is due Friday, one copy per group, worth a quiz grade

Thursday -  review SFair vocabulary, 2nd draft of SFair Project Proposal is due on Friday

Friday - Review SFair vocabulary from crossword puzzle and outline. Be able to relate the vocab. words to YOUR Sfair project (i.e. what are your manipulative and responding variables) Quiz on Monday
