UPDATE 11/20/09

Parents,

On Monday please have your child bring a pair of sunglasses to school with them.  They are going to wear them when they do their Turkey poem for their 6th grade buddies.  On Wednesday the Kindergarten parents are invited to morning assembly (8:20) where the children will perform the poem for the school.

UPDATE 11/18

Parents,

I was not in school today and will not be in tomorrow because my son got hurt in gym class on Wednesday.  He has a concussion and fracture in his skull, but was released from the hospital tonight.

I will send the letter copybook for Pp home on Monday for homework.

Today your child is bringing home a Turkey Poem that we are going to perform for our 6th grade buddies.  Please help your child to memorize the bolded lines.  We will be "rapping" the poem.  Don't worry, we will work on the rapping part in school.

Don't forget your Box Tops.

The December lunch order is due back by Tuesday 11/17. 

Monday 11/23 is a dress down day for the Cherrydale fundraiser.  The children from our class that are attending are Deanna, Johnny, Alyssa, Emma, Jack and Mason. 

As a reminder, dog folders should be checked at the end of each day, especially Fridays, and emptied of any projects that are to stay home.

Communication Folders are due on Mondays at the latest.
