Welcome to Mrs. Beck's Fifth Grade Class! Please remember to check my website often for updates. **Lunch schedule: 11:55-12:25 ***Have you read your 30 minutes today? **Please continue to study math notes nightly. *Classroom needs: Tissues!! Science: Ch. F2 Test on Friday, Feb. 5 We will be studying Geometry this month. Please STUDY math notes nightly, as there are a lot of vocabulary words. There will be random Pop quizzes. Please study multiplication facts with your child at home. They will need this knowledge all throughout fifth grade math. Please encourage correct typing skills when your child is working on the computer at home. Please help enforce good nutrition at home for snacks and when packing lunches. Limit the sweets and chips, and replace them with fruits, vegetables, and yogurt. Help me get your children excited about good nutrition! Encourage your children to use proper manners at home and in public. No chewing with your mouth open (very disgusting at lunch!). Use a napkin properly (just use one).
