Don't forget to turn in boxtops! We want to have the most on our grade level and we've done great so far!! Each boxtop gives the school $0.10. That adds up fast!!

Study your multiplication facts nightly. Play multiplication games on the computer.

We still need about 12 Sunny D labels to receive 20 free books for our classroom.

Math Tips for Parents: 

Check with your child daily about his/her homework.

If you don't understand the math assignment, communicate with me.

If your child is experiencing problems in math, contact me to discuss what can be done at home to improve success.

Encourage your child to cook with you to reinforce math learning in everyday life.

*Students are allowed to have water bottles (any clear liquid) at their desks. They are allowed to eat their snack during our outside time at the end of the day. Please send healthy snacks.

Please study multiplication facts with your child at home. They will need this knowledge all throughout fifth grade math.

Please help enforce good nutrition at home for snacks and when packing lunches. Limit the sweets and chips, and replace them with fruits, vegetables, and yogurt. Help me get your children excited about good nutrition!

Encourage your children to use proper manners at home and in public. No chewing with your mouth open (very disgusting at lunch!). Use a napkin properly (just use one).
