Math:

• We are studying fractions this week. Students are expected to identify fractions, represent fractions, estimate fractions as being closest to 0, 1/2 and 1 and use fractions to solve problems.
  
• We will continue to work towards our ice cream party by completing timed math fact quizzes.
  
• Please se the Renzuli website. I have sent your child fractions activities.
  
• Homework: Menu due Friday
  

Science:

• We are studying frogs this week. We will study the life cycle and habits of frogs. We have tadpoles in our classroom and will observe and document their characteristics as they grow and change.
  
• We will also continue studying pill bugs. We will observe their behaviors and conduct simple experiments to learn more about their physical traits.
  
• On Friday we will visit the science lab. We will learn about the life cycle of the praying mantis. We will raise them in our classrooms next week. (Friday we will bring them to our classroom!!!)
