Math 8 and Math Intervention 

Classroom Rules

  1. Be Responsible

Classroom Materials (Checkedon September ___________)

  • Covered Textbook
  • Pencils (Mechanical preferred)
  • Eraser (non-clicking)
  • Spiral Notebook
  • Index cards (lined, 3x5)
  • Red pen for corrections
  • Student Planner (Binder Reminder)

Homework (20% of Final Grade)

  • Mandatory, Daily, Review on Weekends
  • Due the next day
    1. Complete (All work shown) = 5 points
    2. Incomplete or 1 day late = 3 points
    3. Obvious “Did not even try to do” = 0
  • All Textbook HW is to be completed in Spiral Notebook for review and study purposes

Quizzes (20% of Final Grade)

  • Every Friday
  • Parent signature on quizzes

Projects (10% of Final Grade)

  • 1 per Trimester

Tests (50% of Final Grade)

  • Announced at beginning of chapter
  • Parent signature on tests

Grade Scale: A= 100-90  B = 89-80   C = 79-70  D =69-60   F = 59-0
