Week of  October 26

Holocaust survivor, Judith Altmann will speak to the  entire 8th grade in the auditorium tomorrow Thursday Oct. 29 at 9:30 a.m.  about her experiences as a 16 year old in a concentration camp. 

Although Permission slips and deposit for Chamber Theatre Production's Short Story Performance, "Encore', Dec. 16  were due Friday October 23rd. There are still tickets available and I will continue to accept permission slips for those students interested. It was my hope that eveyone would participate as we are reading these short stories in class.

In class we are finishing reading the novel Night,  a memoir written by Elie Weisel, holocaust survivor. Additional assignments may follow throughout the week.

We are reading The Devil's Arithmetic in class. Students are answering questions in class, no homework today.
