May 30, 2011 Dear Parent: Where did the school year go? It seems like it was just yesterday when teachers and students were trying to get acquainted. As we come to the close of yet another school year, we want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to be part of your child's life. Also, thank you for all the support you have given us throughout the year. Top Readers from each classroom will be recognized this Tuesday, May 31st, in the Award and Prayer Service at 9:00 a.m. in the church. Our First grade recipients are Andrea Arellano and Rebecca Rodriguez. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Our class has collected 400 box tops one more time this year. Therefore the students may were blue jeans with their red St. Luke T-Shirt on Wednesday, June 1. They are very excited about this. This has definitely benefited the school and the children have enjoyed collecting boxtops. We hope everyone has a great and safe summer! We also encourage you to read with your child during this vacation; it will be extremely helpful at the start of next school year. Important Dates: Monday, May 30: No catering service / Hot Lunch order forms for the week are due to the office. Tuesday, May 31: Primary Prayer Service (Montessori – 3rd Grade) 9:00 a.m./ Awards Ceremony for Montssori-3rd Grade after prayer service. Parents are welcome to attend. Wednesday, June 1: Mother-Son Luau Dance 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. at Kids' Castle
Thursday, June 2: Mass 8:30 a.m. – 4th Grade
Friday, June 3: Last Day of School Half Day / Noon Dismissal
