 Welcome to Second Grade! Granite Quarry students are: Driven to Read! Important Dates: March 23- Early release at 11:45 March 26- Spring pictures- class and individual March 27- NC Zoo trip April 4-13 Spring Break Important reminders: Sign your child's reading log EVERY night. They should be reading 30 min. each night. This can be library books, books from home, magazines, or any source of printed text. Your child needs to be ready to conference with me about the readings that you sign off on. Please use 5 or 10 minute increments when logging minutes. This makes it much easier for our "mile counters" to total miles.
