PLEASE NOTE THAT IN MIDDLE SCHOOL ONE CHECKS THE SUBJECT TEACHER'S SCHOOL NOTES TO FIND OUT THE HOME WORK.

CORE SPANISH:  It is IMPERATIVE that students KNOW the VOCABULARY. students are asked to study at least 5 times a week for 20 minutes whether or not written home work has been assigned.  Students should study present and past vocabulary and present and past grammar.  This information can be found in the text book, the back of the work book, in the study guides that were sent home, and online at  www.classzone.com  .

~If your student does not understand a homework question he/she is to translate all the words in the question, that appear in the book, in writing, then attempt to answer the question to the best of his/her ability for credit. Your student can then bring his/her work to me during homeroom period and I will help him/her.  I am always happy to work with students who need more help, please see below.

7TH GRADE CORE SPANISH:

~Please study the grammar and vocabulary at least 4 times over the summer especially during the last two weeks before school starts in August :).

 8th GRADE CORE SPANISH:

~Please study the vocabulary and grammar at least 4 times over the summer and especially during the 2 weeks prior to starting high school :)

f your child is having difficulty with homework, please have him/her give me his/her best effort, translate the words into English in writing and come to me during home room period. If your child is having difficulty with particular concepts, please let me know as soon as possible so we can set up some help sessions.  Thank you.

As you know we can have computer problems, please don't rely on School Notes, ask your student to bring his/her planner home every night.

Sincerely, Mrs. Christie Hogan
