Social Studies Grade 8 - August 25 - 29, 2008

During our first week of school we will cover Chapter 12 Manifest Destiny (text pages 356 - 378). We will take two days to complete the guided reading worksheets for each of the four sections of the chapter. We will then discuss and go over the worksheets. Some type of quiz will follow on Friday or next Wednesday.



Social Studies Grade 7 - August 25 - 29, 2008

During the first week of school we will cover Chapter 1 The First Americans (text pages 16 through 33). We will complete a map on the Indian Culture Regions.

Math Grade 6 - August 25 - 29, 2008

My focus this week is to quickly cover Chapter 1.
This chapter is on decimals. I plan to cover at least one section a day. Homework will be the odd numbers when assigned. Homework is to be completed in the math notebook. Any assignment on loose leaf paper is graded.
