Happy New Year!  I can't believe that 2009 is already here.  We are nearing the end of the second grading period.  January 21 is the last day of the second quarter.  If you have any questions or concerns about your child, please contact your child's teacher and do not wait until the end of the grading period.

Class group pictures will be made on January 15.  Students need to wear their uniforms to school that day.

We will be celebrating Multicultural Week the week of January 12-16.  Please join us as we celebrate activities around the book A Million Fish More or Less.

Students are out of school on January 19 which is  a holiday and on January 22-23 for workdays.

Our SIT will meet on January 9 at 2:20 pm.

We are still  collecting Box Tops, Tyson  A+ and Campbell Soup labels.  Our school is also registered with Harris Teeter and Food Lion to earn money when you use  your VIC and MVP cards. We are also registered at Target.

As always, thanks for your continued support.  If you have any questions or need any help, call the office at 278-2131.

Office Staff: Rebecca Kepley-Lee, Principal;Shirley Holt, Assistant Principal; Joy Barnette, Secretary; Kelly Swanson, SIMS

Our school hours are 7:30am-2:15pm. Teachers are available from 7:15am-2:45pm. Students are tardy after 7:45am.
