As we enter February, we are so thankful that we have not had any bad weather.  Keep your fingers crossed and hopefully we will have a full spring break.

Report cards went home January 31st.  If you have any concerns at all, please contact your child's teacher.  We all need to work together to be sure your child gets the best education possible.

Please join us for our second Honors Assembly of the year on February 3rd.  Students will be recognized for perfect attendance, effort, a and a-b honor rolls.

Our media center is open on Thursday, February 9th for open library from 4:30-6pm.  This is a time for families to come and check out extra books.  Computers will also be available to use. 

We will begin our Computers for Education program on February 13th.  Students will bring home a booklet of  postcards.  They should put down the names and addresses of  family and friends and return the booklet.  The school will receive 50 cents for every postcard returned or $5.50 for each completed booklet returned. 

Please join us for our second PTA meeting of the year on February 16th at 7pm.  The fifth grade classes will present the program. 

 The School Improvement Team will meet on February 20th  at 2:20pm.

Progress reports will be issued on February 22nd.  Please contact your child's teacher with any concerns.

Mark your calendars!  The next movie night will be February 24th at 6:30pm.

We now have a trailer form Can Do Recycling to collect aluminum cans.  Please help us collect cans.  You can deposit them directly in the trainer in the parking lot below the buses. Please do not put bags in the trailer-only aluminum cans.

We are still  collecting Box Tops, Tyson  A+ and Campbell Soup labels.  Our school is  registered with Harris Teeter and Food Lion to earn money when you use  your VIC and MVP cards. We are also registered at Target.

Our school hours are 7:30am-2:15pm. Teachers are available from 7:15am-2:45pm. Students are tardy after 7:45am.
