Reading - Our story this week will be ""Goldilocks and the Three Bears". Our skill lesson will be "Drawing Conclusions". We will be reading and using the corresponding worksheets for our story and the skills that are taught. The Selection Test will be on Friday.The children should read their story each day.


Spelling - Our Spelling is from Unit 2 , pp. 18-19. The children will have a list of the words to study,given to them on Tuesday. Our Trial Test will be on Thursday, Dictation Test on Thursday, and Final Test will be on Friday. These are the three main grades each week. The children are to keep their work list in their homework folders so that they will have them each night to study.

English - We will be working on "Statements and Questions" and " Commands and Exclamations pp. 36-39.  Textbooks and corresponding worksheets will be used for instruction.

Math - We will be working with Lessons 1-4 through Lesson 1-7 this week. The children will have homework each night to practice ths skill taught for that day.

Science- Physical Sciences : The Sun, Planets, and Moon p. C57-C81.

Social Studies - We will begin the units on "Communities" ., pp.1-9.

   We will alternate days of study in Science and Social Studies.
