Registration deadline for ACT if you plan to take it in February is January 7, 2011!

If you have not applied to a college/university and you plan to go you should spend some of your holiday time filling out those forms!  You can’t get scholarships from colleges unless they know you are considering coming there.

In January you should plan to complete your FAFSA forms.  Colleges want you to complete these forms even if you think you will not qualify for financial aid.  To complete the FAFSA you must have your parents and your own (if you work) income tax information available.  The North Alabama Center for Educational Excellence can assist you and your parents in completing the paperwork for the FAFSA if you choose not to do it yourself.  We will have information available in January.
