Simples Machines Science Project has been assigned.  Ask you child for the rubric.  Sample of one machine is due on Tuesday 5/12.  FINAL PROJECT IS DUE 29 MAY. 

Class Objectives:  
Reading:  In reading students are monitoring comprehension and plot development while reading realistic fiction.
Language Arts: In language work with adverbs that compare and they will continue to increase their understanding of multiple meaning words.
Math:  Chapter 11, Ratio, Proportion and Percent.     
Science:  Chapter 5 is on Motion 
Social Studies - Chapter 6, The Middle American Colonies
Homework:  (see below for spelling words)
Monday- Homeroom:   Reading class: 
Tuesday-  Homeroom class:  Reading class:  Spelling test May 11th
Wednesday- Homeroom class: Reading class: Spelling words three times each 
Thursday - Busch Gardens Field Trip  
Friday -Have a wonderful weekend 

    

Spelling words: subtraction, transportation, missile, portable, export, committee, respect, transport, tractor, spectator, attraction, dismiss, inspector, distract, spectacle, inspect, mission, import, intermission, suspect
