Monday, May 4, 2009 Dear Families, We are putting the test to rest on Friday, May 8. We are wearing pajamas all day and will have a sundae party! Your child can bring slippers to change into. We must have appropriate shoes for recess though. Mark your calendar for Tuesday, May 12 from 4-8 pm for Miceli's Night! Come show your support for this restaurant and help us earn money for a new Smartboard.In reading this week, our new sight words are: what, when, do, could, would, should. We will also continue with small group unit 15 and will test this unit on Friday.
In math, we are working on adding and subtracting numbers to 10. We will conclude this chapter and will test at the end of the week. We will be learning about Cinco de Mayo this week as well as making some top-secret Mother's Day projects. Please let me know if you have any concerns or questions. Interim reports will go home in a week to let you know how your child is doing. Our Stanford 10 test scores have not been returned yet but we should have them to share with you soon.
