for the week of Nov. 16-20, 2009
Bible - This week we will learn songs about being thankful and discuss having thankful spirits. Our memory verse passage is Matthew 5:1-12. There will be a verse quiz on Matthew 5:12 on Friday.
Reading - We are wrapping up "Main Idea" this week. The skill knowledge and vocab tests will be Thursday and the Performance test is Friday.
English - We are beginning our unit on letter-writing.
Spelling -test on Wednesday.
Math - Practice building speed with +7 and +8 facts. Quiz on Thurs.
Social Studies - Great job on the Homes on the Range! The whole school got to see them and many compliments were given on the creativity of each project. Our test on chapter 4 "Pioneers" will be on Friday. Our next region is the 12 states in the Southeast (SE) region: Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas. The quiz on the location of these states will be Wednesday.

Notes for the week
-Thanksgiving chapel on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. Each class is performing. Please have students wear P.E. uniforms on this day.
-We will have a simple Thanksgiving party on Friday 11/20 from 2-3p.m. We will make a craft and have some goodies.
