           November 2nd- November 6th

Monday 11/02

Spelling- Write words 2x each in ELA notebook. Starting in December, students will be writing their weekly spelling words in ABC order in addition to writing 2x each. We have been practing ABC order in class with their word families, to prepare them for putting their spelling words in ABC order next month.

Religion- Test tomorrow on chapter 3. See review sheet sent home last Friday.

Social Studies- Worksheet on different types of communities. We learned the different definitions today in class.

**Tomorrow is Yankee Dress Down

Tuesday 11/03

Spelling- Pretest tomorrow (there is no school Thursday)

Math- Worksheet

Grammar- Voyages page 58 and pick five compound words from pages (voyages 57 and 58) and write the compound words in a sentence (in ELA notebook).

Wednesday 11/04

Spelling- Pick four words and write a sentence for each word in ELA notebook, make corrections on pretest and study for test Friday

Math- Word problems worksheet. Students were given steps to follow when reading and solving word/story problems. Use the steps as a guideline in completing the problems.

Reading- Reread group story and complete worksheet

Thursday 11/05

NO SCHOOL-Conference Day

Tests:

Tuesday- Religion

Friday- Spelling

-Spelling words are: queen, quiet, van, vase, vest, jug, jar, yellow, yarn, zoo

-Special thank you to Mrs. DeCandido, Mrs. LeBlanc and Mrs. Ashton who help the students change into their costumes. Everyone looked great! Thank you to all the families that supplied the class with goodies!! They were delicious and the goody bags were wonderful. THANK YOU :)

-School Mass Friday Nov. 6th. It is a full day of school
