Spelling- Write words 2x each 

Math- pages 103 and 104, telling time quiz Wednesday. Students will have to read/write the time and be able to draw the time onto a clock

Tuesday 5/22

Spelling- Write words in ABC order

Math- quiz tomorrow, make corrections on classwork worksheet

Writing- Super sentence worksheet ("The Watermelon")

**Library books tomorrow

Wednesday 5/23

Spelling- Pick any 6 words and write a sentence for each, Test tomorrow (there will be NO pretest this week)

Math- page 118 (we have jumped to chapter 18)

Writing- Super Sentence "Pull through" activity- see sheet. Due Wednesday May 30th 

Thursday 5/24

NO HOMEWORK

Tests:

Wednesday- Telling time quiz

Thursday- Spelling

**Notes:

-This is the LAST week of spelling words! The test will be Thursday and there will not be a pretest. 

-Spelling words are: summer, pool, beach, fun, trip, sand, sun, year, month, time, hour, minute 

-First grade is continuing their author study on Doreen Cronin...we have read many of her books and completed several activities based on her stories and characters. When the students are finished with the author study unit, they will be bringing home all their work from the unit. 

-This week the first graders will be making totem poles (thank you for sending in the cardboard tubes!) 

-NO SCHOOL Friday May 25th and Monday May 28th- Memorial Day holiday

-Our reading buddy this week is Julissa Robles (Anthony's sister) and next week is Mrs. Vuksanaj

-Furry Friend day is Thursday May 31st
