Weekly Overview - May 14 - 18

Monday - Students will bring home progress reports today.  Please make sure all missing work is completed asap.  Students who have not completed the first draft of their plays, must finish them tonight!  Groups are waiting!

Tuesday - Complete Book Buzz Form and practice your talk for Wednesday.

Wednesday - Book Buzz Day - Non fiction information books are required.

Thursday - We will continue working on our end of year projects.  Students will have a spelling test on Unit 5 tomorrow.

Friday - Muffins for Moms.  I attached the invitations to the progress reports.

Spelling Test.

Weekly Overview - May 7 - 11

Students should study Lesson 4 Spelling this week.  We will have a spelling test on Friday

We will also have a vocabulary test based on Lessons 3/4 from Classical Roots on Friday, too.

In language arts all students should have completed a biographical sketch and a monologue speech.  These are past due and student groups can not more forward until work is complete.

Students who done this work already, will work on writing a script for their play.  This can be done in class.

We will continue working on the end of year project that is attached under my files.

Weekly Overview: April 30 - May 4

Rotation 2 and 3 were given assignments today.  The biographical sketch is due on Thursday.  Their monologue is due on Monday.  These deadlines are different for Rotation 1.

Math A Complete Page 588 (12-2)

Math B Complete Page 638 (11-4)

My homeroom should complete their biographical sketch by Wednesday.  They have a monologue due on Thursday. (Homeroom only)

We will have the Unit 4 Spelling Test on Thursday.

Please send all permission slips to me asap.

Weekly Overview: April 23 - 27

Students have a number of assignments that they are working on during the day.  This includes revisions on their biography, a writing assignment on "The Veldt", and two mini grammar labs.  I would like this work to be finished by all on Friday.

We will have a Lesson 3 spelling test on Friday, too.

Mrs. Fierston will be doing an art project with students on Thursday and Friday.

We will have our quarterly Blue and White Assembly on Friday in the afternoon.

Students will soon be receiving a year-end culminating project in language arts.  We will work on this project throughout the month of May.  Students will have individual and group work to complete.

Weekly Overview: April 16 - 20

My homeroom is scheduled to take the MSA Science test on Friday morning, April 20th, from 9:00 am to 11:00. 

We will take the second part of the test on Monday, April 30th.  This test is given in the computer lab.

My homeroom will have a Unit 2 Spelling test on Thursday.  We will also have a Unit 1/2 Vocabulary test, too.  Students should use the Greek and Latin handouts to study.

I have asked students to complete a "surprise" assignment by Friday. They know what to do....don't ask!Innocent

Permission slips for our Montpelier field trip will come home on Friday.
